Get Your Butt In Gear With Me!

I’m so excited for month two of the 12 Monthly Challenges with the Run The Year 2,017 miles in 2017 challenge! When Run The Edge asked me if I would host the 12 Monthly Challenges I was honored to have the chance, not just because I am married to Adam, but because I truly believe in their mission to keep people moving and healthy all year long.

The first monthly challenge was to do a 31 day streak of running or walking at least a 1 mile a day. This next challenge is to help people “Get Their Butt In Gear” with 4 of my favorite glute exercises.

For the month of February, participants in the Run the Year challenge will get a calendar outlining a training plan that includes videos of me demonstrating each of the four exercises and with a specific number of reps to do each day.

The purpose of the 12 monthly challenges is to compliment the main challenge of running or walking 2,017 miles in the year 2017. The main goal does not change throughout the year but each month participants get a little something different to add into their routine and to keep them motivated and fresh!
